Performances:  Vijay Devarakonda is at his usual best and effortlessly slips into his character of a fake baba who cheats people with his avatar. He proves a point with his comic timing which is quite effortless.  It’s a pretty casual role with not much of scope for emotions and histrionics and Vijay executed it in a perfect way.  He could be said as a major asset for the movie. Pooja Jhaveri looks beautiful and showcases good acting skills. Prakash Raj and Prabhakar roles are limited and don’t have much scope to act,  yet they performed well in their limited roles. Raghu Babu evokes few laughs and he is perfect in delivering punch lines that giggles one after the other. Surekha Vani also is refreshingly seen delivering a comedy oriented performance and that too with some good dialogue delivery. Remaining characters acted well in their respective roles.

Analysis:  The comic timing of the entire cast and their roles are not just utilized to the core but also form the crux of the movie. While the first half moves at a decent pace, the entire second half is filled with a lot of boring scenes. While the movie is a comedy entertainer, logically there are a few loopholes in the plot.  The quest for all the things that are happening seems a little unrealistic. The love story between hero and heroine is routine and does not have anything new to offer.  The comic timing of the actors and their performance is the major highlight of the film. On the flip side, there in not much logic and also the love story between the lead pair is a bit disappointing.   The movie mostly revolves around the fake baba episode and love scene of hero. But during the execution, the director couldn’t create the interest in the beginning part of the film. The middle part creates curiosity among audiences with some entertainment regularly. But the basic emotions takes back seat in the movie. The comedy of errors becomes cliched towards the end.
Dialogues are fine. The cinematography is alright. Songs scored by Sai Karthik are fine on screen.  Editing should be crisp as it appears lengthy. Production values by Super Good Films are adequate as this film is shot in the limited budget format. Hence no excess money need to be spent for glossiness in visuals.

Verdict: On the whole,  Dwaraka movie dealt with both love and comedy genre, is narrated in entertainment format but that lost engaging narration. Though Vijay Devarakonda performance and comedy sequences are good,  on the flip side, the movie should have been narrated in a more interesting way. We have to wait and see how this film manages to hold up with 2 biggies around this weekend.

Final word: Time pass entertainment.
